When I first saw this picture I questioned myself about my life. I know I don’t really care to have a lot of stuff. Though even with that I suppose the things I do want is almost never ending; especially when it comes to some of the things I really enjoy. So why do we do so much if we are getting less? In particular it makes me wonder about how I am using my time in life.
Many of us work most of our lives. There is nothing wrong with working, but your time is limited. So let me ask you this. Why do you do what you do? If you can honestly say because it is something you truly enjoy, then that’s great, but if you can’t, then why are you doing it? This topic comes to me often when I go to work. My work isn’t bad, and it pays my current bills, but I often question myself why. The only answer I can come up with is instant gratification in the form or a paycheck. However, is this a good reason to do so when you already know that a fair portion of it is going to taxes and bills?
So the next time you do something, particularly something you don’t really enjoy, ask yourself why you are doing it. If it’s something you don’t really like doing, then ask yourself what you can do to fix that. We only have so much time in this life of ours. So why not spend it doing things we love? Until next time take care everyone.
When I saw this picture today it got me thinking more about our education system. Why don’t we follow those that are more academically stronger than us? Sure, we’ve had many innovations in our country, but perhaps we could have more if our education was made more accessible and affordable to the entire population. Sure, there is always self learning and that is the most important thing to have, but I do feel that the majority of us do need a bit of pushing to learn. What are your thoughts?
Most people would say his talents were in his use of his genius mind. However, the things I felt awe for was the humbleness in his quote. It’s not everyday you hear something so humbling from someone who is known for their greatness. So the next time you think to be boastful remember this quote and be humble, because there will always be someone better than you.
Many people think you need money to achieve greatness. Many people also think you need a lot of other things before you can even hope to pursue the idea of greatness, but this mentality is false. When I saw this picture I knew it was something that needed to be shared. To show what one person can do even in a limited beginning. Remember, if you want something, then it only takes you to start after what you want.
Hello my fellow readers. Are you all doing well? Today as I was working on a passion of mine, Magic: The Gathering, I came across an article from the head designer for magic. This article was truly inspiring. It had talked about getting that dream job, and in this case he had used himself as an example since he was working what he considered to be his dream job. Of course, it didn’t start out to be the original dream job he had in mind, but in the end it all worked out for him. If you guys are interested in reading about it please click on the picture above. I hope you guys enjoy it.
Education doesn’t stop when you stop going to school. It’s an on going process toward true enlightenment. Life can be hectic, but this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to strive to learn new things or improve our knowledge of past things. However, this choice is yours to make. Ignorance or enlightenment, which will you choose?
